What is Architectural Millwork?

The “woodworks” in Hansen & Company Woodworks was included specifically as a nod to our Architectural Millwork offerings. We know this is where design-intent needs to be most carefully understood, interpreted, and kept top-of-mind when we create products for our clients.

The way we look at Architectural Millwork is to consider any product that complements or completes woodworks and finished features in a project. In some cases, this may or may not even include wood products! Our shop is fully set up to fabricate metal, incorporate upholstery, and more.

Some examples of Architectural Millwork we create often include:

  • Wall Panels
  • Reception Desks
  • Upholstered Benches
  • Ceiling Fins and/or Features
  • Bookshelves
  • Stair Treads and/or Cases
  • Custom Built-Ins
  • Room Dividers incorporating Metal, Upholstery, Wood, or More
